Feel the breeze pick up and the bow of the boat rise. The sea air
feels fresher on the face and you’ll taste the salt. Pulling slowly out
of the harbour then picking up speed out towards the open water, a
startled puffin taking to the air in front of you, flapping madly.
Rib boats are fast, open speed boats; stable and safe, they’re
a lot of fun. We are accompanied by professional instructors who
know the waters well so we will make the most of our time. It may
be possible to have a quick drive if you ask nicely. More sedately,
our yacht the Mehalah, is beautifully fitted out and ideal for the

and a beautiful wooden interior, combining modern performance

We join the boats in the sheltered harbour at Deganwy on the
Conwy estuary just above Conwy town. From here we head out into
the Irish Sea with the impressive outline of the Great Orme that
