Feel the breeze rushing by and the warm sun on your face as you cycle through some of the most scenic parts of Majorca. Take a different route each day through traditional villages, lush green valleys and along the coast where you can take a dip in the sea. You’ll have a cycling guide with you as well as our tour leader to ensure you explore the best routes.
Based at Puerto de Pollensa, our first full day will be a warm up ride to Alcudia, with time to explore the old town and relax on the local beach before returning to Puerto de Pollensa (the total ride is about 16 miles on mostly undulating terrain with ascents and descents of around 100m). Next day you travel by bus to Can Picafort from where you’ll cycle into the wetlands of S'Albufera Nature Park and through Sa Pobla village to Campanet (a total ride approximately 18 miles with an ascent of 150m). Here we’ll stop to explore the caves at the foot of the Tramuntana Mountains before returning to our hotel by bus.
On to Manacor by bus and to cycle through the north eastern part of the island until reaching coastal Colonia San Pedro (total ride approximately 15 miles with an ascent/descent of 150m during the day). They’ll be plenty of time to swim and relax before returning to Puerto de Pollensa. We drive to Sineu for a visit to the famous local market before cycling through rural back roads to LLubi and Muro (total ride approximately 15.5 miles with an ascent of 50m and descent of 150m).
A well deserved free day follows and there is plenty of choice – perhaps walk in the nearby Sierra Tramuntara, take a boat trip out into Alcudia Bay or just relax in Puerto de Pollensa. Our last day is our longest and most rewarding ride (29 miles, 250m ascent and 550m descent with a clear downhill bias) where we cycle from Orient village through valleys, farmland and the cosy villages of Alaró or Lloseta on a route that leads back into Puerto de Pollensa.
