guide who leads the way. Your cycling route includes beautiful
countryside, charming historical monuments, magnificent castles, palaces and wonderfully preserved historical old towns.
We are travelling the classic cycle route in Germany. The Germans know a thing or two about cycling and
have designed and built some fine cycling routes, of which the Elbe path is an excellent example.
We cycle along the River Vltava to the Elbe River connecting two significant and cultural, historic cities. We take time to explore Prague before travelling through the rural landscapes of the Czech Republic to the quaint, historical towns in Germany, and finally to
Dresden. You will cycle most days, travelling on to a new destination each day.
Our first two nights are spent in Prague then we stop each
night in Melnik, Litomerice, Decin, Bad Schandau (Krippen) and finally in Dresden. Distances cycled in a day will vary from 21-55km. We’ll be cycling mainly on asphalted paths, and rarely on busy
roads and usually on flat to low gradient terrain. Highlights along
